“Are We Truly Fulfilling Shri Mataji’s Vision?”
Over the years, we have continued to meditate and work in our own countries, yet the overall impact seems limited. Despite so much activity, Sahaja Yoga has not yet become the “talk of the town.” Why is it still confined to our own circles? Why hasn’t it spread as widely as it should have by now, even after 55 years?
Shri Mataji left us with great hope — that Her disciples would carry this divine message forward and share this gift of yoga with the world. Perhaps many of us don’t fully realize how deeply She has empowered us — creating within us a self-sustaining, self-propelling energy that can elevate us to much higher states of existence.
Through our NGO, Immaculate Ideal Human Foundation, and by Mother’s grace, our creative efforts have reached over 112 international film festival awards. Yet, even with all this, something vital seems to be missing — the collective heart. Shri Mataji asked us to love each other, to appreciate one another. Sadly, that spirit of appreciation and togetherness seems to be fading.
When we made films inspired by Sahaja Yoga, international juries appreciated them more than our own Sahaja brothers and sisters. It was shocking — such pure knowledge beautifully portrayed, yet unnoticed by those who should have resonated most with it. Why? Because many are caught up in ego, superego, and material pursuits — running after comfort, power, money, and control.
Sahaja Yoga has given us everything — health, peace, joy. But are we sharing its true essence, or just teaching people how to feel vibrations and clear chakras? Real transformation must go outward. And that happens only when we immerse ourselves in Shri Mataji’s talks and teachings — reading, listening, and living by them.
Many of the institutions Shri Mataji created — such as Nirmal Prem Ashram and the Noida Health Centre — are struggling to survive, even facing attacks. These should be centers of empowerment, yet they are neglected. When we make creative projects to spread Sahaja Yoga, there is often no support, only judgment that “someone is doing it for money.” But organizing, producing, or exhibiting anything costs money — though the awakening of Kundalini itself is always free.
Unfortunately, some trusts today focus only on rituals and pujas, forgetting that the real purpose is transformation — clearing our chakras, awakening deities within, and growing in divinity. Shri Mataji’s pujas were never about ceremony — they were about deep cleansing and ascent.
We must now move beyond ritualism. The world needs education in Sahaja Yoga — a system to teach and guide young seekers. That’s why we’re working on films and web series about Shri Mataji’s life and the miracles of Sahaja Yoga — to reach the younger generation in a language they understand.
This is the age of technology — the age of Vishnumaya and the Vishuddhi power. Media and creativity can now spread Sahaja Yoga across the world. Artists must take the lead. Through our foundation, we are building a strong creative team — making films, series, and projects that can carry Mother’s message far and wide. The goal is to create a self-sustaining movement that continues even after us.
We must be united — no more divisions, no more groupism. Let there be love, forgiveness, and mutual respect among Sahaja Yogis. Shri Mataji personally worked with individuals, lifting them patiently until they stood firm. Can we not do the same for our new brothers and sisters?
Let’s introspect deeply. Sahaja Yoga today needs sincerity, unity, and action — not rituals or politics. The internet, media, and filmmaking are modern tools given to us to fulfill Mother’s vision. Let us use them wisely to create a global wave of truth and transformation.
Mother said, “People will come to Sahaja Yoga when they see the transformation in Sahaja Yogis.”
That is the key. Let us be the change we wish to see in the world.
By meditating deeply, cleansing regularly, and expressing our divinity through love and creativity, we can become true instruments of Her will. Each of us has the potential to spread this light — and Mother promised that “the minute you try, I will be behind you.”
So let’s rise collectively — artists, seekers, yogis — to fulfill Her divine work. Let’s use our talents, our sincerity, and our love to spread Her message. Shri Mataji’s incarnation is the most unique in human history. Let us bow at Her Lotus Feet and pray:
“Mother, please help us achieve what You came for.”
